All applicants accepted into Broughton House have a three months trial period. Residents are given a copy of the Service Users Guide, which gives full details of life at Broughton House to help the settling in process. |

Unfortunately the Home is not able to look after spouses of ex-Service personnel (unless they themselves have served). Every applicant is assessed on an individual basis to decide whether their clinical and care needs can be fully met.

Potential residents are encouraged to visit Broughton House before deciding to take up permanent residence. The Homes fee levels are set in line with those set by Salford Local Authority. It is normal for the financial arrangements to be made prior to arrival. |

In accordance with its Trust Deed, the charity caters only for ex-Service personnel (male or female) who have served in Her Majestys Forces who are in need of care. This includes the Regular Armed Forces, Territorial or Reserve Forces, Merchant Seamen, National Service and the Royal Irish Regiment |
