We strongly believe that residents should expect their quality of life to be enhanced by their admission to the Home and that having social contact and being able to participate in activities is a crucial part of living a fulfilled and healthy life. Broughton House prides itself on the provision of a wide variety of social activities, trips and outings available, with residents ideas and suggestions encouraged. The residents also have their own bar where they can join in social evenings with their fellow residents, or entertain friends and family.
We respect the residents right to privacy, dignity and choice and provide regular residents meetings with the staff. This enables everyone to express their views on decisions affecting their day-to-day lives. Residents also have their own committee with elected representatives to look after the wider issues and there is a thorough suggestions and complaints procedure in place should there be any concerns
Here at Broughton House, we understand how important visitors are and families and friends are encouraged to visit at any time. There is also a guest room available for visiting partners. Relatives are welcome to accompany residents on outings
