HOW YOU CAN HELP |
| Help is Constantly Needed |
| Regretably the contributions from the local authorities do not cover the cost of maintaining a resident in the Home. The shortfall is around one hundred pounds per week, per person. We therefore rely very much on financial support from donations from charities and individuals and also legacies |
| Legacies |
|
A considerable element of our income comes from legacies. These welcome gifts allow us to continue to provide a very high standard of care in a comfortable and stimulating environment. As charities are exempt inheritance tax on bequests, such gifts will reduce any inheritance tax payable, so that money goes to Broughton House rather than the Government. If you require any information on leaving a legacy, please get in touch with Catherine Healey on 0161 740 2737 |
| Donations |
|
If you are considering making a donation and wish to specify what you wish it to be used for (eg holidays for residents) again please get in touch with Catherine. Cheques should be made payable to "Broughton House". If you are a tax payer, we can send you a gift aid form which will allow us to reclaim the tax paid on the amount of the donation. |
| Fund Raising |
| If, as a friend of Broughton House, you would like to fund raise for us we would be delighted. It does not matter how much you raise, it all helps. If you wish to receive a fund raising pack, again please get in touch with Catherine. |
| Events |
| Finally if you would like to offer your time to assist with events please telephone 0161 740 2737 and ask for the Chief Executive. |
