Acclaimed swing and jazz singer Paul Pashley has been added to the line-up for the 2019 Broughton House Gala Ball, which takes place on Saturday, April 6 at The Lowry Hotel in Salford.
The event will be an important fundraiser for Broughton House, with the proceeds directly supporting the veterans in our care.
In addition to Paul, the bill features a Royal Northern College of Music trio and members of the Scots Guards Association Pipes and Drums (Manchester Branch).
The gala ball will also include an auction and a raffle with great prizes. Keith Fane will be the master of ceremonies, the auctioneer and the after-dinner DJ when guests can dance the night away.
Prizes up for grabs on the night include a Manchester United shirt signed by the 1999 treble-winning team, hospitality for 10 people at Sale Sharks, an overnight stay for two at The Lowry Hotel and one week’s work experience at the offices of award-winning law firm Hilary Meredith Solicitors.
Hilary is a trustee of Broughton House and is closely involved with the organisation of the gala ball.
We are delighted that The University of Bolton is to be the headline sponsor for the gala ball, with Eric Wright Group as the support sponsor.
Rhys Edwards, fundraising and marketing manager at Broughton House, said: “It promises to be a truly memorable evening with lots of live music, entertainment and exciting prizes.
“We are expecting over 200 guests and, with tickets selling fast, it’s important to book now to ensure a place.”
Tickets cost £100 per person, which includes a welcome drinks reception and three-course dinner.
The drinks reception begins at 7.15pm and guests are requested to be seated for dinner at 8pm.
