We are thrilled that in a recent Twitter posting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge featured some of our veterans receiving their coronavirus vaccines.
The royal couple’s video clip was posted to their two million Twitter followers and was viewed nearly 115,000 times!
The video showed Prince William speaking with some of those involved across the British Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force in supporting the NHS in vaccinating priority groups.
Interspersed with his conversation was footage of Broughton House residents receiving the first dose of their vaccines.
A six-person Vaccine Quick Reaction Force (QVRF) team, all medically-trained and from the services, administered the vaccines at Broughton House.
We are pleased to have had support from the serving military for this vital programme and were delighted to see the Duke and Duchess feature some of our residents in their video!
