Our Care Home

Broughton House provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for veterans, delivered professionally, compassionately and with a deep understanding of military life.

Broughton House Care Home

Broughton House is the only veteran-focused care home in the North West, and our understanding of military life means we offer specialist care options tailored to the individual needs of veterans and their families.

Service is honoured and respected here. We understand how being in the armed forces can shape an individual, and we encourage our residents to be proud of their military career, finding shared values and camaraderie within our home.

From residents who require light support with daily living to those who need expert nursing or dementia care, we provide compassionate, person-centred support at every stage of later life.

The Broughton House Experience

Broughton House Veteran Care Village is a community unlike any other. Our residents share a unique bond as veterans or family members of veterans, experiencing camaraderie that only comes from a life of service. Here, we celebrate this shared experience through meaningful connections, special events, and a supportive environment where every individual is valued and understood.

Complimentary BroughtonHouse Blazer

Upon permanent admission, each resident is presented with a distinguished Broughton House blazer, a symbol of pride and belonging. This blazer is more than just attire; it signifies a connection to the longstanding traditions of the military and the community here at Broughton House.

Staff Who Understand

Our team includes veterans, those with military families, and individuals committed to serving the veteran community. This deep understanding and connection to the military world enriches the environment, creating a community that is not only compassionate but profoundly empathetic.

Celebrations of MilitaryTraditions

We hold ceremonies and gatherings throughout the year to mark important dates, like Remembrance Day, Armed Forces Day and key military anniversaries. These events honour the sacrifices of our residents and bring the community together in gratitude and pride.
