Registered Nursing And Residential Care
Every aspect of our new home has been designed with our resident’s well-being in mind.
We have built an environment focused around person centred care; tailoring our support to each resident to maximize independence and provide real choice.
It is our mission to meet the growing and ever-changing expectations of the armed forces community and their partners regardless of their age, status, wealth, gender or disability.
Joining the Family
Broughton House isn’t like any other home. It is a special place, steeped in history and proud heritage.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere is immediately noticeable from the moment you set foot in the door until the very second that you leave.
There is a unique camaraderie amongst our residents as they can often be found sharing stories from their time in the military and life after service. It is this that makes Broughton House so remarkable. A building full of life.

It’s in the Detail
The whole area has been designed with our residents in mind from the bright open plan areas to the spacious en-suite bedrooms.
The corridors are wide and doors open effortlessly, providing the utmost of safety. The furniture has been tried and tested by our residents and the lighting adjusted and developed specifically to suit the need of our veterans.
Every last detail has been scrutinised to provide the most relaxing and enjoyable living experience possible.
Outings and Activities
It is often highlighted that our residents lead an envious lifestyle. With regular in-house activities and a variety of external outings, it is easy to see why.
Previous outings include the Not Forgotten garden party at Buckingham Palace, VIP sporting experiences, military association dinners, performances at Bridgewater Hall and much, much more.
For those who prefer more sedentary activities our residents can enjoy gardening at the local allotments or in the Broughton House garden, listening to music, cinema evenings, walks in the park, baking and spending time with visiting therapy dogs, to name but a few.
Our dedicated Welfare Officers ensure activities are accessible to all and just like any other family, we celebrate Birthdays, Anniversaries and Days of Remembrance.
