Broughton House has been providing care and support to Veterans in the North West for over 100 years and our recently developed Veteran Care Village concept is designed to both expand and develop the nature of care we provide, including our existing Armed Forces Support Hub. We also understand that Veterans’ needs are everchanging, therefore our vision is to enable and empower the Armed Forces community to live with dignity and independence at every stage of “life after service”.
The Armed Forces Covenant Trusts’ Veterans’ Places, Pathways and People Project aims and ambitions align with our own; to provide an improved level of support for veterans through collaborative working with stakeholders across the charitable and statutory organisations in the North West, enhancing support pathways particularly for mental health care, and providing a network of places and people with the right skills to provide support where it is needed.
Broughton House VCV would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how you may join us in this work as we believe we are well placed to become a Portfolio lead for the North West region on this project. We are running an online consultation event on Thursday 15th July at 2pm for organisations who work with veterans in the North West Region to explore opportunities for collaboration with the aim of using our collective knowledge, experience and resources to develop a comprehensive portfolio of projects to leave a lasting legacy of enhanced and improved support to our veterans with mental health needs.
